Maxi the Pirate

A pirate from a faraway land, the Ryukyu Kingdom, Maxi is Hayato's sworn brother. He followed Hayato here to the present time. Maxi thinks of this land as another world. Indeed, he never knew that dragons existed until my dragon, Juniper, pounced on him!

A pirate he may be, but he doesn't share the rough attitude most pirates have, for which I am grateful. He is kind at heart. I know nothing of what he's done in the past, whether he's looted ships or not, but I've decided I can trust him. I'm sure he's thankful for that, for he knew I didn't trust him at first appearance. Hayato settled that though, and now Maxi is my good friend, and when Hayato isn't around, I can confide in him.

He doesn't necessarily pry, but Maxi is the type who demands the full picture of everything. If there's something he's not sure about, or something I'm hiding from him, he doesn't surrender! He just keeps at me until I tell him everything he wants to know, which sometimes gets on my nerves. This has happened to me in a few cases. Maxi has a quick mind. He notices when someone's lying or when someone isn't telling the full story.

Hobbies? Well, reviving Hayato seemed to be one of Maxi's hobbies for a time. It is funny that Maxi has also been known to get into arguments with Hayato. Deep down they know no fight would tear them apart, but sometimes the heated arguments get stretched into brawls. Typical "brothers." It is fun to watch, though I've seen few fights between the two. They're growing out of it.

Maxi trains with his special nunchaku, Fatibal. It is an odd weapon, one I have never seen before, but his knowledge and use of it is great.

He gets into trouble often and, unfortunately, used to drag Yugo into it as well! Maxi finds it highly amusing; yes, he enjoys getting into trouble!

He's considered a dandy, so he's an expert on love advice. I'm shy about the subject, but Maxi doesn't mind talking about it. In fact, we've gotten in quite a few arguments because he's so skilled at prying into my business. I've yelled at him and he's yelled at me. Of course, we make up afterwards.

I consider Hayato like family, so that would mean I'd have to think of Maxi like that too, since he's Hayato's sworn brother. It's typical of brothers and sisters to fight. This dandy is just about the only person who can get me upset within a few moments of talking. Nevertheless, Maxi is the only sea pirate I've ever come into contact with and, in either rain or shine, he'll always be my favorite, easygoing pirate.
