Hayato
Kanzaki
He is
the 21 year old leader of Star Gladiator. If that's not pressure enough, he is also a
bounty hunter. One look at his scarred right eye tells you that this man is not to be
taken lightly; that is, if you're against him.
Hayato
is extremely loyal to friends. He's always been loyal to me, helping me in any way that he
can. Indeed, he'd offer his life to save another. He was the first person I met in this
land and I admit that I had once fallen in love with him. Now he is the only link to my
homeland. He has taken a vow to protect my mother to the death. That is not impossible,
being since Hayato possesses deadly powers. He is, in fact, a Super Saiyan. His powers are
a little too great for his own good. I'd have to say that if I had to name one fault of
Hayato's, it would be his immense power. At times with the Dark Hado and Devil Genes, his
power rises too high for him to control, resulting in chaos and destruction. Kanzaki is
well aware of this and blames himself everytime he goes "out of control." And
having him lose control over his power is a dead serious thing. He has unconsciously put
forests into flames when his evil power got the better of him. But he blames himself for
anything else that goes wrong too.
A lot of
the time when I first met him, he was unhappy and upset about something; not a good time
to be on his bad side. I'd never want to get on his bad side.
I used
to know Hayato as the "strong but silent" type. He kept to himself a lot, but he
would speak when spoken to. Now, however, we're pretty open to each other. His past was
shrouded in mystery to me until recently. All I had guessed was that he had a rough
upbringing, resorting to violence at a young age just to stay alive; a "Survival of
the Fittest" background. But now I realize that he is the long lost son of Prince
Vegeta, something he isn't too proud to own up to. Hayato despises his father's cold
attitude. As a result, he kept his true identity hidden from me for a long time. Hayato is
the next prince in line in the saiyan race. Whether he will openly accept being Vegeta's
son or not in the future is beyond me.
Because
of being what he is, he trains often and lots of the time carries one of his dangerous
weapons on him, the Outsider or the Plasma Sword.
Hayato
has been through many times of trial. He fell into depression, convinced that nobody cared
for him and that his friends only used him. He felt alone, abandoned, and unwanted,
thinking that every time he tried to help someone, he only made things worse. Hunters were
out to kill him because of me and his wife never spoke to him. Kanzaki was left with
little choice other than divorcing her. Fury overtook him and he began to restlessly
murder his assailants. But the hatred and sorrow would not leave him. He commited suicide
to end his misery. He was revived by a friend, thankfully, and I'd tried to show him that
people do care about him. I offered all the encouragement I could for Hayato, my best
friend, hoping he would embrace life. Nobody would ever have guessed how much bitterness
he had stored inside him. He'd crossed the hard road and I hoped that his depression was
over and that he could become the happy man I used to know.
And now
it has come to pass. Hayato Kanzaki is content, and he even has a son, Eiji Yuugi Kanzaki.
Things finally looked up on the bright side for him. He's happy and healthy. O let the sun
smile down upon Hayato Kanzaki!

(This is believed to be "Black Hayato," the
evil, dark Hayato that has been mentioned before.)
